We are an international group of producers, designers, project managers, sailors, artists, fabricators, makers, engineers, and educators traveling the world initiating, teaching, and executing hands-on environmental and community action initiatives.

Our VISION

To learn through teaching, to teach through learning, to adventure, to make a difference in the world around us, to help where needed and wanted, to provide practical and useful skill training to those in need so that they may help themselves and others, to clean and preserve our overwhelmed oceans and waterways in an effort to safeguard our precious ecosystem and drinking water. We feel a strong sense of duty to help ensure that future generations inherit the same wild, pristine, and beautiful planet their forefathers enjoyed by responding to natural and humanitarian crises.

For the past two decades our collective network has spent hundreds of thousands of hours and millions of dollars producing and creating for profit projects that continue to harm and damage our planet and thusly society by not taking proper causation and responsibility for the by-products of their corporate choices. NOW instead of putting our skills and knowledge toward selling more of their products or entertaining more meaningless photo moments or stunts, we are putting our energy towards a force for good to help our planet and society recover, survive and thrive for generations to come.

Where we work

MAKERSHIP will continually travel around the world assisting where it’s needed most. As a sailing ship we are able to best affect coastal and near coastal areas. While we have a regular annual program, planned out 6-12 months in advance, we remain prepared to act as a rapid response team in the event of critical humanitarian or environmental crisis or catastrophe. Historical immediate action examples would be - Haiti - Indonesia - Phillipines - Puerto Rico - Caribean - etc……….

Abilities

MAKERSHIP Carries onboard (1) Small motored Dingy (1) Medium Sized Skiff - these vessels allow crew and supplies to get into harbors and remote marine areas the ship itself cannot due to water depth. We also carry (2) 4x4 ATV’s with Tool Boxes and Trailers which can be deployed direct to land from our ship or remotely by our Skiff. These ATV’s allow us to move, work, and distribute supplies further inland and on rough terrain.

MAKERSHIP onboard tooling includes:

  • Welding and Metal Working Tools

  • Carpentry and Wood Working Tools, Chainsaws & Lumber removal

  • 3D Printing

  • 4’ x 4’ CNC Routing Capacity

  • Electrical, Soldering, Solar and LED systems assembly and repair
